Nexus Final Days
In the last 2 years Nexus has grown to 80 members, taken at least 30 cars off the street, saved about 200,000km of car travel and given away at least a dozen free bike mechanic consults. We have offset every kilogram of carbon that our cars or our offices have generated and hopefully helped a lot of people understand that although cars are a necessary part of Perth's transport solution, they do not need to be a part of our lives every day.
Unfortunately Nexus has grown too slowly to be viable and we are closing. We are still passionate about the philosophy and outcomes of carsharing however and expect that carsharing will be a more realistic proposition in a number of years.
